eSIM compatible devices

Confirm your phone can install a Viettel eSIM.

Two checks: the phone must support eSIM, and it must be carrier-unlocked.

Apple devices

Step 1: Check eSIM support

Method 1: Dial code

  1. Open the Phone app and dial *#06#.
  2. If an EID appears, the iPhone supports eSIM.

Method 2: Settings

  1. Go to Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Data).
  2. If you see Add eSIM or Add Cellular Plan, it supports eSIM.

Step 2: Confirm the phone is unlocked

  1. Go to Settings → General → About.
  2. Find Carrier Lock.
  3. No SIM restrictions means the phone is unlocked and can use Kovitel.

Step 1: Check eSIM support

  2. If an EID appears, the phone supports eSIM.

Method 2: Settings

  1. Go to Settings → Connections → SIM manager.
  2. If you see Add eSIM or Add mobile plan, it supports eSIM.

Step 2: Confirm the phone is unlocked

  1. Go to Settings → Connections → Mobile networks → Network operators.
  2. If you can view and select other networks, the phone is unlocked.

Google Pixel devices

Step 1: Check eSIM support

Method 1: Dial code

  1. Open the Phone app and dial *#06#.
  2. If an EID appears, the Pixel supports eSIM.

Method 2: Settings

  1. Go to Settings → Network & internet → SIMs.
  2. If you see Add SIM or Add eSIM, it supports eSIM.
Google Pixel devices

Step 2: Confirm the phone is unlocked

  1. Go to Settings → Network & internet → SIMs.
  2. If you can add or switch networks freely, the phone is unlocked.

Other brands

Step 1: Check eSIM support
